Palm Springs held the first of seven planned public meetings to discuss replacing the city's rotating mayoral system with a directly elected mayor. Residents were split on the proposal, with conversations centering on community representation, diversity, and accountability. - National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts Convention (July 25–26) — The La Quinta Resort and Club hosted this unique public exhibit featuring intricate miniature worlds and dollhouse accessories.
- Living Out Art Walk (July 26) — A free, vibrant celebration at Living Out Palm Springs showcasing over 450 original works by more than 75 LGBTQ+ artists, with live entertainment by singer Gennine Francis.
