With over 60 events across 70+ venues — including theater, live music, visual arts, film screenings, and architectural tours — the festival is already making its mark as a signature summer event. Highlights this past week included the Truck Stop Art Fair (June 12–13 at Palm Springs Downtown Park), gallery walks in the Backstreet and SOTA Art Districts, and performances at the historic Plaza Theatre. The festival was developed by a coalition including the Palm Springs City Council, Chamber of Commerce, Palm Springs Art Museum, and Modernism Week, with a five-year plan to grow it into a landmark annual celebration.
